Habitat For Humanity | Ferndale Electric

Feature Project

Habitat For Humanity

Former President, Jimmy Carter, and his wife Rosalynn, worked along side many volunteers in southwest Detroit to build new homes in seven days for 30 very low income families.  Twenty-five Ferndale Electric employees, along with a number of their sons and daughters, donated their time to install the electrical systems for three homes on Fathers Day. This was one of the most successful projects ever organized by Habitat for Humanity in its 22-year history.
