Habitat For Humanity

The week of June 18-24, 2005 was an exciting and memorable event in the City aof Detroit as former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Roslyn worked along side many volunteers to build new homes for 30 very low income families in seven days in southwest Detroit. Ferndale Electric and 25 employees along with a number of their sons and daughters donated their time to install the electrical systems for three homes on Fathers Day, 2005. This was one of the most successful projects ever organized by Habitat for Humanity in its 22 year history.
