Blue Water Bridge

Port Huron, Michigan

• Installed raceways, wiring (power for License Plate Reader Site Prep, NEXUS "FAST" Program), cabling (instrumentation), power equipment, equipment posts, terminal boxes, concrete poles, antennas and radiation detectors with stands necessary for the LPR, RPM, NEXUS and FAST Program systems. Work included the concrete; saw cutting, trenching and excavation necessary for the extension and addition of traffic islands and equipment foundations.


• Blue Water Bridge Plaza Phase I, II & III - Install New Traffic Control, 450Kw generator back up power system, Outdoor Lighting, Substations & related Electrical for 7 New Buildings and electrical work for new bridge.


• Renovation of Existing Bridge - Replace entire electrical system, roadway lighting, and switchgear; install traffic control and changeable message signs and over 16,000' of new conduit on the original bridge.


• New Bridge - Furnish and install complete electrical system for the new Blue Water Bridge including changeable message signs, roadway lighting, navigational lighting, decorative lighting, and emergency power systems for Canadian operations.


• Truck Cargo Facility Expansion - 100% expansion of the Truck Cargo Facility during occupancy. Project included fiber optics to high voltage, for an "all inclusive" expansion.
