NextEnergy’s campus (in the heart of Detroit’s entrepreneurial Tech-Town) offers specialized facilities to accelerate the research and development of alternative and renewable energy technologies They are one of the nation’s leading catalysts for alternative and renewable energy research and development.
Ferndale Electric provided the Electrical construction services of a new 45,000 sq. ft. building on the Wayne State University campus. The facility included office space, research and development areas and an auditorium. The project also included a Power Pavilion for energy source demonstration which includes and a 5kv micro-grid installation, as well as the installation of “Peel and Stick” photovoltaic modules for the grid-tied PV System.
